Experiences

What are your experiences? How did you execute this process within your family and how have you and your son/daughter /employee prepared themselves for this transfer? It is interesting to know what you would have done in another way if you could do it again. Do you have the opinion that 'independent strangers' (external advisors, a college course, a consultant, the Chamber of Commerce or the branch organization, etc.)  should give more support to this process? In what way?

Did the predecessor and successor produce a transfer plan? Looking back you can evaluate your plan and did it help to realize the right transfer?

There are a lot of questions and answers and on this page we try to give the interested groups the possibility to present their view on this process.

We gather here stories, anecdotes, movies with interviews and publish this on this site aiming to spread information about bottlenecks, do's and don'ts, pitfalls and how to avoid these, etc. As far as the author is well known by the project leaders it is possible to present anonymous files. The project leader or partner will check the content.

So you may expect that this page will grow during the project and experiences of predecessors and successors might help you.
